Students who attend STEAM Middle School are required to wear the following attire (the embroidered items and ties must be purchased at Fischer’s Uniforms):
- White Embroidered Oxford shirt or White Embroidered Polo Shirt (Shirt lengths that fall below the closed fist when held by the side must be TUCKED in at the waist)
- Khaki or Navy pants or shorts - (no cargo; no skin showing from armpits to thighs with fists by sides; no denim or blue jean material)
- Khaki or Navy skirts or skorts - (no skin showing from armpits to thighs with fists by sides; no denim or blue jean material)
- Solid Navy or black leggings may be worn under Khaki and Navy skirts
- A solid color long-sleeved undershirt/T-shirt may be worn under the White Embroidered Oxford or White Embroidered Polo shirt (a sweatshirt or hoodie may not be worn)
- A solid brown or black belt must be worn for any items requiring a belt
- School-appropriate socks
- Safe and appropriate shoes must be worn. No house shoes, flip-flops, bare or sock feet.
- Plaid 37 or navy ready tie, cross tie, or bow tie - (Optional piece)
- Plaid 37 pairs with Middle School Oxford
- P.E. uniform - t-shirt and athletic shorts or pants and tennis shoes (If leggings are worn - shorts must be worn over them. Crocs are not permitted in PE.)
- Fischer’s has an optional P.E. uniform with STEAM’s logo
- Clear backpack
- School ID - (will be provided by the school)
There are 3 options for outerwear (these are the ONLY approved outerwear items students are allowed to wear. Please note, students need to wear 1 of the 2 approved shirts under their outerwear.):
- Embroidered Navy blazer
- Embroidered cardigan
- Embroidered Navy 3-quarter zip sweatshirt
Fischer’s Uniform in St. Charles is the store where STEAM Academy Middle School families purchase uniforms.
*Eighth-grade students may wear the STEAM High Oxford Shirt or the STEAM High Embroidered Navy blazer.
Special non-uniform days will be scheduled throughout the year and as rewards for accomplishments.
